Christmas time!

Before we left we got a present for our "Christmas Angel" which was a little 9 year old girl in the Richmond branch.  It was so much fun!

Jordan's Grandma Egbert recently moved into the retirement home in Layton called Legacy.  They had a Christmas party that we went to with her.  They had Santa there and cookies and a bell choir.  I decided that I would love to move to Legacy!  It is such a nice place and really nice people.

Christmas Eve, Eve we went to Jordan's family party.  Then Christmas Eve we went to the Brough family party.  Love seeing all of our family again!

Carson slept pretty much through both parties.  Then Christmas Eve we went over to talk to Jordan's brother on Skype.  It was exciting to have Eric meet Carson. We also opened Christmas pajamas over at the Campbells.

Talking to Eric.
Christmas morning. Carson loved all the presents:) We definitely got spoiled.

Carson got his first cold so he has not been sleeping well at all.  He's had quite a bit of coughing attacks which make him throw up all his food. The vacation has been really fun but it is a lot more exhausting traveling with a baby.

More Utah and Carson's blessing

Leigh and Todd bought a house and around the time we got there they had started remodeling the whole place.  We went up a couple times to help, we probably just were in the way, but it was fun seeing the transformation!  Not the ideal situation for Carson at first but he had fun listening to all the noise. The dogs loved having blankets there to sit on.

One night we decided to go to Farmington station to see the Christmas lights.  It was soo freezing cold!  We all had hot chocolate and were crowded around a heat lamp and we still didn't last very long.

Carson's baby blessing!  I'm so grateful that we got to wait and bless Carson in Utah so that we could have all our family and friends there.  It was such a great Sunday!

Jordan did a lot of wrestling with the kids.  Little Hyrum and Grandma hanging out.
Killer Bunnies!  Yes we did play it of course.  We only did get one night to play though since every other night we were tired by the time all the kids went to sleep.

Lots of new people to meet

Meeting some cousins and Aunt and Uncle:)
I wish that I got more pictures of everyone.

All the Great Grandparents!!

Great Grandma Egbert

Great Grandpa Campbell.  4 generation picture.
We got to go down to Provo to say goodbye to the Campbells before they left on their mission.
I'm so sad that we never got a picture with Great Grandma Campbell:(

Utah here we come!

Carson's first airplane ride was.... terrible! He just screamed and screamed most the rides.  We were so happy when we finally got to Utah and off that plane.  Leigh came to pick us up from the airport and my dad surprised me by being there too. (He was supposed to be driving to California) It was so great seeing Carson meet his Grandpa :)

The next morning we got to Utah was Grandpa Egbert's funeral. We are so grateful that we were able to make it after many calls with relatives and airlines. Grandpa Egbert was an amazing person and his funeral was a beautiful tribute to him and his life.  We will miss him so much.

Burr it was so cold!  It was fun being able to stay home and do nothing when it was snowing outside instead of having to go to work.

Carson loved being with lots of people!  Watching tv and movies are his favorite.

Kristi, Jen(Todd's sister) and I had a baby shower for Leigh.  Of course it ended up being a night that decided to be a blizzard outside but considering the weather we had a great turn out! We did a hot chocolate bar with soups for food and Jen brought all the decorations.

It was so fun to see Taylor and Kristi and all the kids!  We haven't seen them all for over a year.  They have grown up so much.
