End of Basketball Season

For a place that everyone said didn't get much snow usually we are definitely getting all the snow ha ha! I guess it's a weird year this year. For the most part the snow is gone in the afternoon, so it has been not too bad. 

Basketball season is all over! Both the boys loved it and can't wait until next year. Carson got significantly better through the season. He is a lot more confident during practice and gets more shy during the game but by the end he was trying to steal the ball. Brooks was in a little bit younger age group, and he was a ball hog for sure. He was the one stealing and running and shooting the whole time. 

Brooks made friends with Carson's coach's son. They were insane together but always had fun. We lucked out and Brooks' last game happened to be against him! They thought it was the best ever and even got to guard each other. 

Mesa temple visitor center and park

The Airbnb that we stayed at had the "perfect reading spot ever" as Carson said. Lots of Grandpa speedy snuggles with movies. 

The new mesa temple visitors center has lots for kids to do. So we played there for a bit then headed over to the park right by it. 

They chased birds and had the best time. With a Brooks tantrum added in there as always ha ha.  

Phoenix Zoo with Campbells

Kelsey had a volleyball tournament in mesa so we went down to meet them for a quick trip. We love when the kids get to play with each other! Unfortunately, Brooks threw up the entire night. It was awful. We think he just overate junk food and then the next day he was feeling okay again. 

During her game we headed to the Phoenix zoo. It was so much fun! We loved it. 

Overall it was a great day! With the exception of Liam falling and scraping up his nose and then a few moments of low blood sugar craziness. 

My friend Nicole got me obsessed with Jalapeno Bucks mango salsa. They are only open about half the year so I had to go and get some there. The food is also very good.
