Friends and Memorial Day

The pool hadn't opened yet so we had a few little pool days. They love all kinds of water!

With a few other Student families we do a babysitting rotation.  These kids are a wild bunch when they are together all night but so much fun!

Fun with touchable bubbles! (thanks grandma campbell)

Memorial Day swimming!  We had to take a copy cat picture like last years with the same babies now a year older. (Lucy, Carson, Addie)

Carson loooves the pool!  I'm so happy to be able to go somewhere free that he can get all his energy out.

Carson loves his sweets... Shocker.. Cookies and cotton candy.

Father/son and feeding goats

Jordan decided last minute to go up to the Father/Son camp out with the ward. It was in Goochland which is about 30 minutes away. Carson had so much fun running around with all the kids.  He was going to stay overnight but decided it was going to be a lot more work than it was worth.  Maybe next year!

Visiting another donut shop by us.

We took Carson to Maymont to look at some of the animals they had there.  I thought he would be scared to feed the goats but he loved it!

He kept saying bye bye and love you to the goats.

Random walk.  Jordan got Carson to do a gangster look.

Everytime I do my makeup he is obsessed with my mascara. Well we turned away for a second and he got one and when Jordan found him he was poking his eye saying ouch. Ha ha

Natural bridge, Cavern, and Foamhenge

There aren't many things out here that are like Zion's or Arches or anything we are used to in Utah so when we found out there was a Natural bridge we decided to check it out!  It definitely still wasn't like something in Utah ha ha.  The "hike" was about 50 stairs down and around a corner.  It still was a fun break from studying for Jordan.  Jordan officially finished his 2nd year on Tuesday!  So exciting!  He has a week break and then starts up in clinic and his 3rd year.

We went with the Olsen's.  It was a blast seeing Carson and Briggs play together!

After the bridge there was a little walk to a waterfall.

We then went to a Cavern that is right next to the bridge.  We loved the Cavern!  Carson was supposed to fall asleep in the sling but he was so interested in the cave.  He kept looking around and staring up.

So when I was looking up the Natural Bridge online the #3 thing to do down there was "Foamhenge" which is a replica of Stonehenge but made out of foam. Ha ha! So weird so of course we wanted to see it.  It was pretty warn down from weather so I don't know when it was rated so high but it must have been a few years ago.

There was a lot more down in that area but we did as much as we could in one day.

Cinco de Mayo

We all went out to eat at Chile's the other week and Carson sat at a different table then us the whole time.

Picnic inside. I tried to get Carson to color but he just wanted to color his toe nails.

He started sitting on the side of the tub to read his book.

We all did a Cinco De Mayo party and everyone brought mexican food.  The kids had a pinata and loved it!

Carson didn't quite get how to hit the pinata but he loved the candy after!
