The birthday bash!

For Carson's birthday party we did a combined party with Lucy and his other friend his age Mckay.  (Lucy's birthday 3 days before Carson and Mckay is 2 weeks after)

The smash cake.  Total epic fail on all three kids!  Don't believe all those cute messy cake pictures you see on pinterest.  Ha ha Lucy did not even touch her cake.  Mckay played with the truck on his and Carson cried when he got frosting on his hands and tried to shake it off.  Jordan finally stuck his hands in it for him and he took one forced bite.  But whatever good enough for a picture ha ha.

 We got him a tricycle for his birthday.

 Mckay got a car that they all loved.

 Carson passed out in the car on the way home.  He stayed asleep while I took him inside and changed him and fed him.  Did not even peek his eyes open.  I guess he had fun.

Well the day was fun but I think next year we will just do hot dogs at home!

Our baby is one!!

I can't believe Carson is One!  He's growing way to fast.  He's such a happy and full of energy boy!

He is obsessed with his stuffed duck from Easter.  Has to have it to sleep and carries it around everywhere.

He loves anything with wheels.

He went from crawling to running and hasn't stopped.

He will just walk in circles if he has nothing better to do.

Even for how much energy he has he will still sit and read books forever.

He loves throwing matchbox cars. Mostly at us.

To start out the birthday weekend we got some visitors! Grandma and Grandpa Campbell and Austin.

One of Carson's birthday dinners we went to the Cheesecake factory.  He conveniently had a blowout during dinner and got to go pantless.   

Carson definitely got spoiled.

Dental year 2!!

Jordan has officially started his 2nd year of Dental school!  So exciting.  It's going to be a busy busy year for him.  He has 15 classes just this semester and all of them have quizzes everyday on the subject that is going to be taught that day.  Not to mention tests all the time:)  He is going to have fun ha ha. 

To celebrate starting school we all went out to our favorite sushi place after their orientation.  It's awesome.  They do all you can eat sushi for 11 dollars and it is good sushi.  Well Jordan says it's good. I'm not a huge fan of sushi myself.  We always go with a group and they order literally every roll on the menu plus all appetizers are included and other meals, which is what I get.  This time we went they made it so pretty!  That was 15 rolls of sushi on the boat and platter.  They ordered more after that too.

 Sunday we took our class outside to get their wiggles out before sharing time and Carson decided to teach them.  They sat better for Carson then they ever do with us! They all were just giggling so much. We love our CTR7 calling:)

Lexington and Concord with a little zoo

We headed up to Lexington and Concord next! We did a Liberty Ride trolley tour there of a bunch of battle sites.

We had a couple hours left in our day so we decided to go see the Franklin Zoo. 

It's not a great picture but the anteater was our favorite! He is so weird looking.

We were glad that our pass got us into the zoo and we didn't have to pay cause it was pretty disappointing for a zoo. But it was good for the little time we were there! 

Well Boston was so much fun but time to go home! When you travel with a baby at the airport they always test your hands for explosives.  Who knows why they choose us but I've had it done every time but this time I tested positive!  I then got treat like a level 4 threat to the airport.  They made me go in a different room and leave Jordan and Carson and I got a full on pat down.  They tested everything in my bag for explosives and all my clothes I was wearing.  After all the drama I was cleared to go.  Apparently it was all over my phone? The airport continues to give us good stories!
