Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Campbell

Lots of swimming lately!

Sunday we got a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Campbell!  They were out in North Carolina for one of Kelsey's good friend's wedding.  They were nice enough to extend for a few days and come visit us.

Carson still has an obsession with teeth.

We went out to Jordan's school to show them around and then we had to go to the Sugar Shack.  It was still as delicious as the last five times we have gone :)

It was so great to see them again!  They headed out Monday night to catch their plane Tuesday.  Carson and I followed leaving Tuesday night.  We are quite sick of airplane rides but I guess it is worth it when we finally land.

A bunch of randoms from the last few weeks

Carson may not be able to walk yet but he has mastered climbing.  He climbs on everything!

This is a daily occurrence on warm days.  Jackson comes over and smashes his face up to the window knocking on it yelling "KKKKKAATTEEE.... CCCAAARRRSSSOONN."  Carson loves it and gets beyond excited when he sees him.

For some reason Carson got hives all over his body the other week.  It covered him for 3 days and then went away but a fever followed for the next 3 days. Apparently lots of kids had been getting a hive virus around the time he got it also.  So who knows where it came from but we just had a tired grumpy boy for a week. He just would lay around which is quite weird for him.

He decided to jump out of his stroller and cut up his nose.  It was the first time I've seen him bleed so I think I had more of a heart attack then he did.

Still fevering.  He wanted to play so much but every time he found something soft he would lay on it for a couple minutes.

The stinker got into my mascara and somehow opened it. I think that it was a ploy to get a bath time.
Church is right during his naptime at 9 but he does not sleep during it so by the time we get in the car to go home he falls asleep.  This week we opened the door to get him out and he looked like that!  It looked so uncomfortable and funny.  We then tried to wake him up for a few minutes and he refused to wake up.

We went to a second hand children's store to look for a bedtime music toy the other day.  We weren't lucky enough to find one but me and Jordan found the most hilarious toy! We literally were crying looking at it cause it was creepy.  So we had to buy it.  Little did we know Carson would love it.  He crawls around holding it's hand all the time.  Out of all the toys and cute stuffed animals he has he is attached to the creepy one.

Now vs one week old!

I put him in his baby bath tub to try to distract him while cleaning.  He thought it was pretty funny and I had to take a picture cause he is getting so big!! Well Jordan has his last test tomorrow and he is all done with school for the summer!  So exciting :) :)

Babysitting and Fathers Day

I got to baby sit these cuties on Saturday while their parents ran a fun run.  I just love watching them all play together.  Usually Jackson runs around and Carson follows trying to catch up with him and then Lucy just plays with toys with me.

I wish I could get iphone videos to work on here because Carson and Jackson are hilarious.  They just egg each other on being silly and loud.  Carson is obsessed with hitting the closet door in the hall way because it makes a loud noise and he taught Jackson about it.  So for the next half hour they both yelled and hit the door together.  Then played with the box making a fort.

So..... we had to make a real fort to play in!

For Fathers day on Sunday we had a dinner with all our friends.  We do these at least once a week lately.  Its so fun:)

Okay lots of these pictures but Carson loved the car!

Strawberry Fair

Carson was so sweet to make Kelsey a birthday card.

Yesterday we went out to Ashland, Virginia which was about 20 mins away from us.  They were having a strawberry fair.  We never actually got strawberries because they were sold out by the time we got to the main part of the fair but it was still pretty fun.  There were tons of booths of local shops to look at and food.  We did find funnel cakes and strawberry frozen lemonade.

It was so hot!  They had a misting fan that Carson thought was pretty great.

There was a random Scottish tent that had our name:)
