Busy guy.

Today is going to be a long one... Carson has managed to pee through is pajamas, throw up twice on two different outfits, and blow out in another.  All before 9:30 this morning. Good thing he is a cutie and we have a washing machine.

4 Months and Williamsburg!

Carson's 4 months appt went great!  He got lots of shots again and he didn't even notice them cause he was playing with his new Christmas caterpillar.

Height: 26 3/4 inches (94%)
Weight: 15.2 pounds (33%)
Head: 16 1/3 (20%)

* He chews on EVERYTHING
* He started eating foods now.  So far bananas, applesauce, sweet potatoes, and blueberry apples.  (He loves sweet potatoes and the blueberry apple mix but hated just plain applesauce.)
* He is a rolling monster but only goes from his back to tummy. Which is terrible cause he hates being on his tummy to long so eventually he starts crying until me or Jordan turn him back.
* He loves playing with his toys now and needs to have them 24/7. No more being entertained just laying there.
* We can tell he is going to be a mover when he finally can get around.  He is always wiggling and moving his arms and legs like crazy.
* He is into blowing his lips. If that even makes sense.... He does it all the time. Whenever he wakes up he starts doing it and when he eats.
* He sleeps all night!! From 8pm to around 7:30-8ish in the morning. But he is terrible at naps.
* He smiles and laughs all the time :)

Bananas and Sweet potatoes!

Williamsburg!

For MLK day Jordan had school off so we decided to go somewhere.  It was such a nice day the high 60s!  When we came out to Virginia looking for a place to live we went to Williamsburg but not the colonial part. It was much more fun doing it the way we did this time.

Finding our way around.

It was a really great and relaxing day!  We will definitely go back in the spring or summer when all the trees will have leaves, it will be so pretty.

Utah..... more....

One of Jordan's pre-dental friend from Weber state came back for the break to get married.  They had a bachelor party for him at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Making Sunday dinner.  Austin volunteered to run to the store for us to grab some diapers and formula!  We were all joking about him going into the store with the bag on his head and asking a worker where he could find them.

Snoozing with Grandma.

We didn't bring Carson's bath so he got to be a big boy and shower everyday.  He was a bit hesitant with the first one but by the end of the trip he loved the shower!

Dinner at Trolley Square.

Happy New Year picture.  We were a little tired.

One night my parents took us all out to eat at Longhorn Steakhouse.  When we got there Carson was asleep but it didn't last long until he was screaming.  We realized that he needed a diaper change but when I took him in the bathroom to change him we got a surprise blow out.  I guess being a rookie parent we didn't have extra clothes in the diaper bag so Carson just got to be naked for dinner.

He got to try Jordan's pineapple Popsicle and he loved it.

We were supposed to head home on Sunday but because of all the weather problems and Arctic freeze we got delayed and stuck a few more days.  It ended up being a good thing after all the worry that Jordan was going to miss a few days of school because me and Jordan got really bad colds.  We pretty much laid in bed and slept all the extra days.

I don't know if this makes us terrible parents but we gave Carson Benedryl for the plane ride home. We couldn't take another day of screaming on the plane and we had a horrible flight plan because of the delay.  We traveled ALL day! Flying from Salt Lake to Houston to New Jersey then to Richmond.  The flights were going well until our last one to Richmond.  The plane wasn't there so we sat around for about 3 hours until they finally got us a plane.  We were tempted several times to just rent a car and drive the rest of the way. Carson was an angel :) slept all the plane rides.

We FINALLY got to Richmond around 11pm and we left Salt Lake at 6am that morning. We were exhausted and so sick still.  Feeling relieved we were home we went to get our bags and they were not there.  Our plane was to small apparently so they sent them on a different plane and didn't know when they would come in.  They came in about an hour later.  We were so happy that we got to go home now!.... until one bag came out in a plastic bag and looked like it blew up.  Everything was out of the suitcase and just in the plastic and the suitcase was destroyed.  So then we got to stand in line at customer service forever which you wouldn't think would be busy at midnight but it definitely was. Well it was sad to leave family but laying down in our own bed never felt so good!!
