Christmas Eve and Christmas morning!

Christmas Eve after church we went over to Pratts house for soup and bread bowls. After dinner and playing for a while we played a game with the kids. They all got little presents and Forrest read the Night Before Christmas. Every time he said "and" they would pass the present to the right until the end of the story and then they got their present. They were all still a little young but had lots of fun!

We came home and opened Christmas pajamas. The boys were sooo hyper! The literally were running in circles yelling Santa.

The boys were so cute and excited.

Brooks loved his mini doggy and his "cho cho" pillow. Carson loved opening everything ha ha. The little lucky spoiled boys had such a great day.

Snow snow snow

Carson was in trouble and in time out and Brooks decided to put himself in time out with him.  He even started crying sitting there even though he wasn't even in trouble. It also finally snowed a tiny bit!! Carson was so excited and ran out as soon as he saw it.

Brooks ran downstairs after the shower and was yelling showwww. I went down and he had laid down on the couch with the remote just clicking it trying to get something on.

Our friends, Molly and Conner, did a Christmas party. It was so fun! She had made a cardboard gingerbread house for them to color on and sugar cookies.

We got a little more snow! This time Carson was so excited he went out at 7 in the morning.  Thank goodness Jordan was nice enough to go out with them!

Gingerbread house and Amana

Gingerbread house making. We obviously cheat and buy a kit but the boys loved it....eating it. Pretty much I end up doing most of it while they eat everything.

We had heard about the Amana Colonies so we decided to go up and see it. It is an old German settlement. They also had Santa coming that day. We met the Pratts there and it was a cute little town with shops.

Brooks reacted exactly how we thought he would.  Carson did so good!

Back to Iowa and Thanksgiving

Headed back to Iowa again. Just hoping that there aren't any delays like the way there!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

This year we went over to our friends the Pratts. Carson was beyond excited to get to play with Raegan and Dallas all day.

Carson left his Ducky in Utah at Grandma Campbells house so a few days after getting home he got a package. He was so happy to find surprise gumballs in it also! He just kept hugging his duck saying how much he missed him ha ha.

Picking a package up at the copy shop I looked over and Carson was reading the paper.

After Brooks showers he bundles up in towels and blankets and lays in the hall while I get ready for the day.

Brooks is really catching on to everything Carson does and copies. Lately Carson loves playing hide n seek so if you tell Brooks to hide he just closes his eyes thinking he is hiding from us. Ha ha it's so cute and funny!
