Nashville

On the way to Iowa we took a few stops.  The first one was Nashville!  I remember very little from when I was little about going to visit Aunt Sherrie so it was so fun to go back and see everything!  It is so beautiful there!! Carson and Brooks loooved Ted and Clarence!

I remember my cousin Tessa talking about working at the Puffy Muffin and always thought it was a funny name for a place so I made them show me it.  We got some delish cookies! Then we headed downtown.  It was so pretty!

We found a little splash pool which was perfect! It was such a hot day it's exactly what these boys needed to cool down.

One of the days we went down to Franklin to visit some of the Civil war stuff.  The following day the guys headed back downtown Nashville to watch the Predators play.

It was so great hanging out with Sherrie and Randy.  We are so glad we got to drop in for a few days.

Goodbye Virginia...

Saying goodbye to Afton and Rowan.  We have some adorable pictures of Carson and Afton but I haven't gotten them from the longs yet so i'll add them in later.  We are so sad to not be able to see Rowan grow up and see more of his personality.  Luckily Carson and Afton don't understand what is going on so they weren't sad but me and Maggie were definitely feeling it for them!

The last dinner:( We all went out to Fridays for dinner. Ugh we are going to miss everyone so much. I can't say all the feelings in words what these people mean to us. They have been our family and our support. Carson has grown up with them and loves them so much. I'm so grateful for all of them.

I remember bawling moving out to Virginia and Jordan told me just wait until you are bawling about leaving Virginia.  I thought there is no way I will cry about that.  Well he was definitely right. It has been so hard for the whole month thinking about life somewhere else and with other people.  Before I could not have ever imagined how much I would grow to love this place as much as I have.  We grew so much as a family here, brought home our two babies to this house, made life long friends, created memories and made it through dental school.  Virginia will always have a big part of our heart.

Last Belle Isle outing

Our last Belle Isle visit.  We went with Davis' and Macdonalds. It was lots of fun just walking around. Zach is amazing at taking photos so I will definitely miss getting all the great pictures from him.

We got together one last time with all the Dental classes in the ward for homemade ice cream. Carson and Afton were playing so good outside and then someone came in and said they both were naked. Oops ha ha! They are the cutest little friends. They have gotten so close this past year it is sad to split them up.  He loves his Aftie friend.

The week before we were getting ready to pack up we started getting a duck friend that would come to our door everyday.  We fed it the first few times and then he learned quick he would get food at our place.  Most days he would come to the door and knock with his beak.  Carson named him Goose.
