Randoms and Blank Park Zoo

A few things have finally started opening back up! We are still supposed to not gather in groups and most things are still not open. School was officially cancelled for the rest of the year. Church is still cancelled and my work is still not open. We were starting to go nuts so we did start seeing some of our friends again. With all the husbands working together everyday we figured we were all exposed to the same germs.

Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines opened up to selected times. We really needed out so we got tickets with Pratts. It was probably not worth the drive because so many things are still closed that it was really limited on what we could do. But over all the day out of the house was amazing!

Exploring and Rock Walk

I feel like we haven't been taking any pictures lately cause we haven't been doing anything. Just the same day over and over stuck inside. We finally decided to go out on a walk one day. Carson and Brooks have been obsessed with Onward so everything was a quest and everything was a spell. 

Carson's school is now on a computer... He has Zoom classes twice a week which he loves. He's so social and really missing his friends. The rest of the week the school gave him a Chromebook with all online classes for him. It's been a rough adjustment to all the new normal. 

For Cinco de Mayo Carson learned how to draw a pinata in his Zoom class. He was so happy and I think it's so cute!

Baby boy update ultrasound went perfect!

New month means a new "social distanced" IMP children's activity to try to plan. This month we did a Rock walk. I made nature adventure bags for all the kids and then we painted a looooot of rocks with bugs and flowers. The rocks were all around a park with a path so people could go whenever they had time and not as a group.
