Stake Fair

Today we went to the Stake Fair activity.  It was so much fun!  They had fried chicken dinner with dessert then they also had popcorn machines going, cotton candy, and snowcones!  Apparently they do it every year and it's gotten really popular that even quite a few non members come.  The BYU vs Virginia game was on so of course they had it projected and tons of the guys were watching it.

It was at a fun park and they had so many different games going. People were playing football, soccer, horseshoes, everything.

Sunday we decided to go to a park.  We just drove until we found the first one and stopped there.  Carson has so much fun playing on everything now.  He loves trying to climb up the slide.

Sleeping in

Carson has been quite the sleeper. He's been sleeping in until 10:30 - 11ish everyday for about a week! It's been great getting a morning to myself lately. But he has been needing baths every morning because he has yet to not leak through his diaper during his long nights.

His smile slowly got a little evil looking as I was taking pictures...

Jordan had a early out day and he was burnt out of studying so he came with me and carson to the children's museum.

Carson's favorite thing there is this little pumpkin house thing. Everything is padded in it so it's nice for me cause carson doesn't understand he should be afraid of things like stairs and drops.

OREOS and Temple trip to the North Carolina

Playing with Legos. (At least the case for them) and he plays Peek-A-boo all the time lately.

Jordan gave him a whole Oreo after dinner the other day. To say he loved it would be an understatement!

Random bath picture. He's into laying on his tummy in the bath and he's just so cute:)

Saturday we headed down to the temple. We ended up going to the Raleigh, North Carolina temple instead of the DC temple because it was closed. Raleigh is probably an hourish farther than DC. It was a long day! We switched babysitting but because the temple is so tiny we couldn't do two sessions so me and Jordan did sealings. Our sealer was Richard G Scott's brother. He was great and we ran into him after and he took our picture for us. We even got his finger to prove it:)

The temple was next to the stake center so we just hung out in the nursery there. Carson and Briggs.

Random pictures. Carson was into sucking his thumb for one day. And we went shopping and he carried this ninja turtle the whole time ha ha.

Labor day weekend plus a little

Sunday we had Jordan's Cousin and his family over for dinner.  They live up in Pennsylvania and were headed to the Outer Banks. It was fun to see them since we don't very often!

Labor day we headed over to a ward breakfast over at a new park that just opened.  They had a really nice playground and splash pad.  Carson loved every minute of it!

This week we learned about the Children's Museum that is in Richmond and also they have one in Short Pump which is right by our house.  Apparently you can get a free annual pass if you make under a certain amount of money and it just so happens that we don't make any :)  We will be going all the time and are so excited about it!

It had a little diner, grocery store, pirate ship (with a treasure sand box), construction, a big train that takes the kids on rides, and tons more.  Perfect place to get energy out on a hot day or a cold day.

Carson's new thing to do.  Pull out every pot and pan and get into the cabinet.

Loving books!

Jordan had to dress Carson up in his football outfit for all the football games.
