Plane rides and my birthday!

It's been a while since we have gone on a plane all together.  I was so nervous for Brooks to go on one since he cries during car rides ha. But they both did amazing! They just slept the whole time.

We didn't get in until really late on the 12th so we celebrated my birthday the next day.  I was so lucky and walked into a house all decorated by all the nieces and nephews.  They were so sweet to me!

It was a great way to start the trip in Utah!  It is also the first time in a long time my whole family has been together.  Now with so many littles and living everywhere it never happens so we had to get some pictures together.

Free Slurpies

I think Carson watches me get ready to often.  He knows how to put on pretty much every piece of make up and would if I would let him.  I found him in the bathroom tweezing his eyebrows ha ha.

July 11th is free slurpie day so I took Carson to get one and play at the park.

Fourth of July fun!

The day before the fourth we decided to light off the few fireworks we bought on the way home from New York because they are illegal in Virginia.  We had a bunch of friends come over and we did smores inside. It was so much fun!

For the Fourth this year we saw that a little town about 20 minutes away from us had a parade so we headed there because we really wanted a parade. Tessa and Paul came down and met us there too! The parade was hilarious!  It literally was like 4 groups of people walking down the road some with dogs and thats it.  Then a 10 minute break in between and the last group was a bunch of old guys with lawn chairs ha ha! That was it!  The day was so rainy but we lucked out with a break from it during the parade.

It was such a cute little town! Carson loved Noelle so much!  They were adorable.

Seriously they had a old folks orchestra playing patriotic music.  It was fantastic!  But awkward moment was when Carson and Noelle ran in and all the way up to the front and opened the door to the stage.  Tessa and Jordan had to run all the way up and awkwardly walk back with all the mean stares or laughs.

Our friends were moving and had tons of extra baby food and they asked if we wanted it. I had no idea it was going to be so much!

Brooks is still pretty terrible at sleeping.  He always takes little power naps and then gets to watch TV with daddy late at night.  Lucky little guy.  I really hope he starts sleeping more for my sanity.
