Chef Brooks and lots of snow

Brooks shares a birthday with our friend Raegan who turned 8 this year! Since Grandma and grandpa Campbell were here we left Brooks and Liam with them and took Carson. He had never been to a baptism yet and when we got to the church we sat down and he asked me "Mom is the pool just going to pop out of the ground?"

Brooks and his cooking. He is obsessed and it is so cute watching him but also stressful since he wants to cut the food and do everything. We have to try to have a lot of patience when we make dinner now.

Brooks got a box stuck on his head the other day and it was hilarious.

Cooking dinner every night.

We have gotten so much snow this year. I used to just be grateful at least we weren't -50s like a few years back but it's supposed to not get above 7 degrees for the next week so now I'm not so positive. The boys love it for a bit until they are freezing.

Brooks' Fifth Birthday!

Start of Brooks' celebration we took him to Texas Roadhouse the weekend before.

Happy 5th Birthday to Brooks!!
We love our crazy so much. He is the most loving and affectionate kid. Hugs and kisses are his favorite and we get them all day. He also has quite the stubborn personality too. He NEVER runs out of energy and literally bounces when he walks cause he just has to much. He decided he loves breakdancing and it has become a daily activity. He will turn on youtube and watch for hours and try to do the moves. He is a great big brother! Always helping Liam to stop crying, talking to him, bouncing his chair for me, getting me diapers and anything else to do with the baby. Brooks has zero knowledge or care about personal space and is always right in your face ha ha. His new love is helping cook. We love him!

On his birthday he got a big surprise, Grandma and Grandpa Campbell showed up! The boys reaction was so fun and they just kept asking if they really were going to stay.

Grandpa being brave holding the dart ball thing and getting the balls thrown at his face.

Brooks was VERY specific on what he wanted for his cake this year. Which made it easy for me I guess. He wanted 2 stacked cakes (I did have to talk him out of 4 stacked cakes), chocolate inside, white frosting, orange and green sprinkles, orange letter B's and Aliens on top. (From a Netflix show he loves called Alien TV). We went out for tacos then had just a few friends over for cake and a glow in the dark dance party.

Grandma was so nice to let him use his new cooking kit to make Roman noodles.

It was so much fun having a surprise visit! The boys just love their grandparents so much. They played catch in the basement pretty much all day everyday and the game Sorry.

Liam growing up!! 4 months old stats

Liam was a little late for his 4 month exam. So now he's almost 5 months ha ha oh well...
Height:26.2in (75th%)
Weight: 14lbs 13oz (25th%)
Head: 42cm (46th%)
He is rolling over all the time! Only from his back to his tummy. He is always wanting to play with toys now and be entertained. Good thing he has Brooks to do that job. He is not sleeping through the night unfortunately yet but hopefully soon. He just started eating some foods now and is LOVING it! It's hilarious. He will stick his tongue out as soon as he needs another bite. He also yells at us when we eat a bowl of something and he thinks it's his but he's not getting any. He is a very happy little guy!

I was watching the Pratts one morning and Raegan was making pop bead jewelry for Liam. He also got a new jumper activity thing and he is so happy in it! He will play in it for an hour straight.
