Carson got the star all weekend celebration for his birthday! Saturday after our hike we went out for dinner to celebrate. He picked a BBQ place near us.... kinda... we persuaded him with ice cream. It was so good! He ate a giant burger and was very happy. After we got ice cream next door and walked around the main square downtown. It was a great night.
Carson decided he wanted to celebrate his birthday Sunday instead of waiting until Monday. Because he wanted to open his presents earlier and didn't want to wait until Jordan got off work Monday night. He is really into zombies, so I did a plant vs zombies (the video game) birthday for him.
He is such a goof. We love this guy. He still loves lego so much so he wanted lego for his birthday and a magic eight ball. He got plenty of them and then we didn't see him the rest of the day cause he was building them in his room. Carson loves reading right now. You always find him either watching tv (at all hours of the night) or reading a book. He is really into the Trapped in a video game books, Diary of a wimpy kid and any Bear Grylls book. He usually is a peace maker and will do anything to just make Brooks stop crying, but he also loves to push all Brooks buttons until he snaps. He thinks he is a big kid now, which freaks me out cause he is getting so big!
So after celebrating Saturday with dinner, Sunday with presents, then Monday came of his actual birthday. After school we went to the club house pool and swam for a bit before going home. He wanted spaghetti for dinner.
I bought what I thought was sparkler candles... Well it turned out they were actually just normal sparklers. Oops so he got to do them later that night before heading to bed.
