One of Leigh's favorite towns is Rothenburg. It was 2 hours from them. It is what Pinocchio was designed after and also has a fountain that is filmed in one of the Harry Potter movies. It is in Bavaria, Germany and is one of the most preserved medieval town and it has a wall around the entire town.
Climbing to the top of the tower for the views of the red roofs! It was quite the climb but worth it at the top! After we ate we just explored all the different stores. We went to one that Leigh told us to go to and the owner was so nice. Ha ha after we told him our sister told us to go there, he asked if we wanted a selfie with him. There also was a medieval shop that was a dream for the boys! Swords all over the place.
We had to get Graham a matching sword that we got for Liam in France. He was so excited and then they both just ran around with them. On the way home we stopped to go to the bathroom and the boys about died going in theirs. There was poop everywhere! They ran out and laughed about it for literally an hour.
