3 year anniversary and start to Boston!

Carson is trying to learn a new trick lately.  He hasn't quite got it down thank goodness!
He thought the top of the pineapple was hilarious. We finally got him a big boy high chair instead of trying to get him to stay in the bumbo. It has been so nice! We should have done it months ago.

It was me and Jordan's 3 year anniversary Tuesday! He got me a super-sized donut from my favorite place:) so nice of him! Then he surprised me by having one of our friends babysit and we went out to eat to the Cheesecake Factory, like always, and a movie.

Then we headed out to Boston on Wednesday! We didn't plan it to be an anniversary trip but I guess we can say it was.. It is pretty expensive to rent a car out there so we decided to use the public transportation most the trip. I've never been on a Subway so it was fun for me! Jordan loved it because it reminded him of his mission.

It took a while to get to our hotel since we didn't know the ropes of all the transfers and buses but we finally made it. Our hotel was on a deal so we didn't know what it would be like but it ended up being way nice! We were on the 9th floor and had huge windows with an awesome view.

The first day we just hung out and went to a little pizza place for dinner.  Then Thursday we started our sightseeing. We decided earlier on to buy a pass called the GoBoston and it gets you into about 80 different things. If you want to do a lot it is by far cheaper to do it that way then buying individual entrance fees. One of the big things it had was going whale watching. It was a 4 hour trip and we saw two whale ha. They were sleeping they said so they didn't do a lot but once and awhile we got a tail dive.

Heading out on the boat

One whale.

Two whale.

Little tail.

All and all it was really cool and fun but you definitely only need to do it once in your life.

After we went to the New England Aquarium. Carson thought it was really cool! He just would point and stare and laugh at everything but mainly the penguins.

He even got to touch a starfish. He could have touched a stingray but I wasn't quite sure about that...

Creepy fish and HUGE turtle.

Of course we had to end the day at sea with a seafood dinner at Legal Seafoods. I like seafood but I'm not adventurous with new seafood but I decided I should probably try something new out here. We got some chef special and ended up with salmon, shrimp, tuna, and swordfish. Oh and clam chowder of course! They were famous for that and apparently it gets served at every presidential inauguration.

Day ended well with a ice cream cone!
