Poptart houses and flying home

Making gingerbread houses out of pop tarts.

More matching outfit pictures ha. They were just to cute together. Even though most of the time they would rotate napping and being awake at different times.

Little Graham was blessed the Sunday were were there. It was so special being at the house and the kids sat so well during it. After we had a ham and potato dinner. My boys were so excited cause they got their own mini sparkling cider.

Quick Grandma tea party and card game the night before we had to leave.

Last morning hot tub swim.

Oh boy the way home.... It was definitely one of my worst flight experiences. Or at least in the top. My first flight got delayed but they kept me on it saying I would still keep my connection in Denver. We finally got on the plane and sat there for 45 mins not moving. Finally started going and then stopped again out on the runway for another 40 mins. By now I defiantly was going to miss my connection which was the only flight out of Denver for the night so I was preparing myself to spend the night in the airport. Right before landing they told us that if we could hurry we might make it. So I left my stroller and ran through the Denver airport holding everything and Liam. Brooks was crying on the floor cause he didn't want to carry a backpack so I told him he could have whatever he wanted if he would just run ha! We got to the gate and the flight had left 10mins early!! It was gone before we even landed... I was so mad. Got in line to customer service for an hour and they booked me on a different airline. I was so happy!! We got to the gate right when they were almost done boarding. We were on the plane and I was so relieved to be going home and not stuck in the airport. We got to Des Moines and they didn't have my bag but who cares I was home. We got to the parking lot but then Brooks fell and cut his face and was bawling/bleeding. Liam was also bawling at this point I have to add. Then to top it all off my car battery was dead! So by this time I was bawling also and called Jordan who got ahold of the airport security people. We sat in the cold car all crying for about 40 mins and then they came out and jumped the car and then I got to drive 2 hours home ha ha. It was an emotional journey and I'm glad it happened on the way home and not there cause I probably wouldn't have gone home.
