Halloween was so much fun! Jordan's office dressed up as animals and zookeepers. Brooks picked to be the color red... Carson was an army man and Liam was a pumpkin. For actual trick or treating we went with the Sorensens to Mount Vernon Street. It is one of the historic streets in downtown. They shut it down for Halloween and everyone goes all out. They have so many people come that you have to wait up to ten minutes in between houses to get to them. It was literally the perfect weather ever! We went very early so not all the houses were handing out candy but we didn't want the big crowd and mostly just wanted to see it.
When we got to the top of the street there were golf carts waiting to take us to a church around the corner that had a Candy Crawl. It was insane how much candy we got from them. They had bounce houses and food for free and tons of games. Honestly we could have just gone there and had enough ha ha. Then they take you back to Mount Vernon on the golf cart and you walk back down the street. By then we just walked in the middle of the street and looked at everything. It was also a zoo by then with crowds of people.
Before Halloween the neighbors asked if we would come around there cause they had never had trick or treators. There were about 10 houses that just got candy for our boys and it wasn't just a small candy. They were all bags of candy! This candy will never be gone for a while.
