Hats and Stake Fair

Silly Brooks is loving hats! Carson found some cool beds at toys r us. 

Our stake did another fair this year.  Its was a blast! Carson ate so many snow cones and cotton candy.  He would just run to the front of the line whenever he wanted and grab one.  He also ran around with Boston the entire time.

I found Carson in the sink the other day "washing" his hair.



Brooks was so proud of himself for getting the racetrack out of the box.  Carson found a new thing of tic tacs and ate the entire thing before I found him.

I got Carson a skeleton at the dollar store.  The next day I found it all over in random positions. We took the guard rail off Carson's bed to try it out one night...I don't think he was quite ready for that ha ha. 

Carson's 3 year appt and more messes

Carson is still obsessed with his fort which has made afternoon quiet time pretty nice for me.  He will just watch a show on the ipad in his fort with snacks ha.

I think Brooks threw up on Jordan 5 times in one day. By the last one Jordan had had it ha ha! But brooks thought it was hilarious. And then to top things off we turned the corner and Carson had dumped out all the confetti from his birthday.

Every single day the cars get dumped out.  They are the very first toys out and they stay out all day. My boys are car boys.

Carson had his 3 year appointment.

Height: 39.37 (92%)

Seems like things never change with his percentiles. He is such a funny guy. The other day in the shower he told me a little story..... (Background to the story. Probably 2 months ago he had a little gummy plastic toy worm and he let it go down the drain during his shower. He was mad about losing it but he hasn't mentioned it for weeks.)

C: Hey mom, I'm going to get really really small and go down the drain to find my worm and then i'll PUNCH out with my big muscles and then get big again. Cause i'm a big strong boy. Mom where did my worm go?

Me: Down the drain to the ocean.

C: Oh okay well I better get my swim suit on then get really small and go get him in the ocean.

The other day I found him without his pants on. (Which is actually more common then him having them on)

Me: Carson, Why did you take your pants off?

C: Brooks told me to.

Me: He did?

C:  Yeah he said "Blah wa weeee!"

He is now liking superheros because of his new underwear we got him.

C: I'll find the macaroni!! I'm superman!

C: I'm the flash! I'm super fast! (then he runs around the couch a million times)

Snacks with Boston.

Carson and Brooks playing in the tunnel at the park.  It is so fun seeing them play with each other now.  Brooks is still to small to do much but it makes me so happy to watch them together.

Bike ride and Labor day

After playing at a friends house all day Carson fell asleep on the way home.  When we got inside he made it in the door and thats about it until he laid back down.

This is about as peaceful of a shower I get nowadays.

Saturday morning Jordan and a couple guys headed out on their bikes to ride them down to Williamsburg which is a total of 50 miles!  It was the day that was supposed to be the huge rainstorm from the hurricane so lots of the guys dropped out.  But a few decided to risk it and still go. It turned out to be a perfect day and only rained for the last 5 miles. Me and the boys drove down and met them for lunch and brought Jordan home.

The boys tried pop rocks for the first time.  It was hilarious! Brooks couldn't get enough of them and kept licking Carson's hand for more.

Labor day we went to the ward breakfast and then just chilled at home.  Later we had a BBQ with a bunch of friends.
