We were so excited the Olsen's drove through Iowa on their way moving from Boston to Spokane. We haven't seen them since dental school! The kids were shy for an hour and then best friends. They fit a lot of playing in the short time they had together. Fire fly catching and Pie face was the highlights!
Brooks and Briggs hit each other on the tramp. Brooks got a pretty good black eye eventually from it.
Iowa went all out for the 4th this year. Probably to make up for missing it all last year! It was so much fun. They had a Freedom Fest at the park next to us. The first day the kids did the rides and they had a free dinner.
The boys were obsessed with the rubiks cude guy. They mixed up the cubes about a million times and made him fix them. He was making murals out of them.
